Jake G. , Associate AIA

Founder of BP Partners in 2004. Jake has a unique background having worked as an architect, developer, general contractor, and as the owner's representation on a variety of challenging projects. He has performed construction program development services in cities on two oceans, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Great Salt Lake. Previously a Sr.Construction Project Manager, Development Specialist, and Project Architect Jake has managed many multi-faceted and specialized projects, such as: "big box" retail outlets, coffee shops, theme restaurants, bio-tech labs, a three (3) building public administration campus, retail and restaurant projects within a secure airport terminal, and out of the ground multi-plex cinemas. Project responsibilities and roles have included: construction management - managing entire process from concept through turnover, obtaining entitlements / approvals & permitting, and creating vendor master agreements & deliverables scopes. Jake has managed projects through turnover totaling over 1.5 million sq. ft. of tenant improvement projects and 500k s.f. of out of the ground projects.

Jake holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Construction Management degrees from The University of Kansas. He is active in several professional organizations, including: the San Francisco Chapter of the A.I.A. (American Institute of Architects), D.B.I.A. (Design-Build Institute of America), P.M.I. (Program Management Institute), L.C.I. (Lean Construction Institute), The California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP), and is on the path for L.E.E.D. Certification
(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
