Westfield - Houston, TX - 2005:

Seven (7) tenant spaces (restaurant and retail): 6.5k s.f. - Project Cost: $750k

Several retail and restaurant projects were planned, designed, permitted, and constructed in the   new IAB (International Arrival Building) in Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The   projects unfolded concurrently with the final construction phase of the new secure terminal. A   strong on-site partnership was forged between the Airport, Continental Airlines, the developer, TSA   and the tenant's contractor.

All projects were expedited during design and permitting by our on-site team to

validate and change plans quickly to work with the terminal's phase construction schedule. Special   attention was paid to verifying existing utilities and providing the contractors on-site direction for   utility connects, security issues, and field change directives. In the final phase, a "secure contractor   corridor" was created to escort the contractors and their tools through security to the projects. The   project required evening work.
